Scope of Membership

The Federation shall provide the Applicant, subject to timely payment of dues and compliance with Federation rules, the following services and benefits: official membership identification, eligibility to register for sanctioned events, access to ranking records, notices of rule changes and disciplinary processes, and other administrative services as set forth below. The Federation does not guarantee selection for any particular competition or team.

Either party may terminate this membership for convenience upon written notice delivered at least days prior to the effective termination date. Confidentiality

The Applicant and the Federation each acknowledge that during the term of membership confidential information may be disclosed. Confidential information includes non-public business information, medical records, disciplinary records, competitor rankings, and member contact information. Each party shall not disclose or use such confidential information except as required to perform obligations under this Agreement or as required by law. This obligation continues for three (3) years following termination of membership.

Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Risk

By submitting this Application, the Applicant certifies that participation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and related training and competition involves inherent risks, including physical injury or death. The Applicant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all such risks and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, releases and holds harmless the Federation, its officers, agents, and event organizers from any claims arising out of participation, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
