What the International INT Program document is and when it’s used

The International INT Program is an enrollment and participation agreement used by U.S.-based organizations to register, authorize, and document the terms for international interns, exchange participants, or visiting scholars. The form generally collects personal identification, immigration and visa details, program dates, host-site responsibilities, health insurance confirmation, emergency contacts, and a signature/consent block. Organizations use it to confirm participant eligibility, set program rules, assign supervision, and create a record suitable for onboarding, immigration screening, and compliance with applicable U.S. employment and privacy laws.

Why a clear International INT Program form matters

A professionally prepared International INT Program form reduces onboarding errors, clarifies immigration and insurance responsibilities, and documents consent for data processing and liability allocations.

Why a clear International INT Program form matters

Who typically completes and signs the International INT Program

Organizations, participants, and supporting administrators all play roles in completing the program form.

  • Program administrators and HR staff who verify eligibility, coordinate visas, and retain records for compliance and reporting.
  • International participants or interns who supply identity, passport, visa, insurance, emergency contact, and signature consent.
  • Host supervisors and department approvers who confirm placement details, supervision plans, and site-specific safety requirements.

Signatures from the participant and the authorized organizational representative are usually required to activate the agreement and begin onboarding.
