Practical tips for accurate orders and fewer returns

Applying consistent controls and documented approval steps minimizes errors, speeds fulfillment, and protects both customer and provider.

Standardize personalization limits
Define and publish maximum characters, allowed symbols, and font options. Enforce these rules in the form with character counters and clear error messages to prevent irreversible engraving mistakes.
Use proof approval workflows
Require a visible proof and explicit customer approval before production for all personalized items. Keep proof timestamps and approver identity in the order record for disputes.
Match signer authority to action
Record relationship to decedent and require documentation when the signer is not an immediate next-of-kin; retain authority documents with the order record.
Integrate payment and shipping
Connect payment capture to shipping rules so that address validation runs before production and shipping labels are created only after funds clear.
