On (Month, Day, Year) I caused to be filed in the case of the Estate an Applicati on to make a mineral lease, at private sale, regarding the Estate's ownership of an undivided (Percentage or Fraction) mineral interest in the following lands (the "Lands") in ____ Count y, ____: (Description of Lands that are the Subject of the Application to Make a Lease)The Lands have some prospective value for oil and gas purposes and (Name of Ward) (the "Ward"), the owner of the undivided ____ mineral interest in the Lands, has previously executed an oil, gas, and mineral lease on the Lands, which lease contained pooling and unitization provisions. As Guardian of the Estate, I believe it is in the best interest of the Ward and the Ward's Estate for me, as Guardian of the Person and the Estate of the Ward, to grant an oil , gas, and mineral lease, with pooling and unitization provisions, on the Ward's undivided mineral intere st in the Lands, for the best price obtainable. The proceeds to be derived from granting a lease are necessary for the support and maintenance of the Ward. It will be more advantageous to the Estate that the lease on the interest of the Estate in the Lands be executed privately without the issuance, service, or return of notice by adverti sing, for the reason that an advantageous offer for a lease on the Ward's interest has been recei ved, contingent upon the lease being executed in the shortest possible time and for the l east possible expense. Representations have been made to me that development and operations are contempl ated on, or in the vicinity of the Lands, to the end that an immediate lease on the property is desired. It is my intent, with the approval of the court, to execute a lease covering t he entire interest of the Estate in the Lands.
