What the Marketing Additional Services Proposal Is

A Marketing Additional Services Proposal is a formal written offer describing extra marketing tasks, deliverables, schedule, and fees that extend or modify an existing marketing engagement. It records scope changes, payment terms, timelines, and acceptance conditions so both parties have a clear, auditable record of expectations and responsibilities before work begins.

Why documenting additional marketing services matters

A clear proposal reduces scope disputes, sets payment milestones, and provides the basis for enforceable work orders. It also establishes timelines and acceptance criteria that protect both client and vendor during delivery.

  • Agency project managers who need formal client approval for added work or budget increases.

Enforceability risk: Improper signatures or missing consent
Payment delay: Unclear invoicing terms
Confidentiality breach: Inadequate NDA or handling standards
