What the Marketing Advertising License Is and why it matters

A Marketing Advertising License is a contractual document that grants defined rights to use advertising assets, placement, or promotional channels owned by one party to another. It typically covers the scope of permitted materials, geographic territory, term and renewal provisions, approval rights for creative, compensation or royalty mechanics, ownership of newly created material, and compliance obligations with applicable advertising laws and platform rules. Why a written Marketing Advertising License reduces risk

When executed electronically in line with ESIGN and UETA, it creates an auditable record that supports enforceability and efficient distribution across partners and platforms.
