What the Marketing Campaign Support Template Is

The Marketing Campaign Support Template is a standardized document used to plan, authorize, and coordinate campaign activities across stakeholders. It captures campaign objectives, target audiences, creative assets, media spend, timelines, approval checkpoints, and legal constraints. Designed to centralize requirements and approvals, the template reduces ambiguity between marketing, legal, finance, and external vendors and creates a single record for execution and post-campaign review. When completed and retained, it supports auditability, compliance with platform policies and privacy laws, and repeatable handoffs for future campaigns.

Why a Structured Support Template Matters

A single, consistent template reduces misunderstandings, speeds internal approvals, and documents authorization. It improves compliance with privacy and advertising rules and creates an auditable record for finance and legal reviews.

Why a Structured Support Template Matters

Who Typically Prepares and Uses This Template

The completed template is used to operationalize the campaign, route signoffs, and provide a record for post-campaign analysis.

  • Marketing managers and campaign owners responsible for objectives, targeting, and asset delivery.
  • External agencies and creative teams who need clear specs, deadlines, and approval steps.
  • Legal, compliance, and finance reviewers who validate disclosures, budgets, and contractual terms.
