What the Marketing ClickDimensions Implementation document is

The Marketing ClickDimensions Implementation is a structured implementation plan and checklist used to configure ClickDimensions within a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment. It captures project scope, CRM instance details, tracking domains, form and landing page mappings, email authentication (SPF/DMARC/DKIM), lead scoring rules, and deployment steps. The document helps technical and marketing teams align on data flows, required integrations, user access roles, testing criteria, and post-launch monitoring. It is intended to reduce misconfiguration risks and provide an auditable record of decisions and configuration values during setup and handoff.

Why a formal implementation plan matters

A formal Marketing ClickDimensions Implementation ensures consistent configuration, preserves data integrity, clarifies responsibilities, and documents privacy and compliance choices. It reduces rework, speeds deployment, and creates a single source of truth for the CRM and marketing operations teams.

Why a formal implementation plan matters

Who typically completes this implementation plan

This document is completed collaboratively by marketing operations, CRM administrators, and IT stakeholders to ensure both business and technical requirements are met.

  • Marketing Operations: Defines campaign goals, lead scoring, form flows, and acceptance criteria for the implementation.
  • CRM Administrator: Provides Dynamics 365 instance details, user roles, and config access required to install and map ClickDimensions.
  • IT / Security: Validates DNS, email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), data retention, and integration security controls.

Final sign-off commonly includes a marketing lead and the CRM administrator to confirm configuration and operational readiness.
