What the Marketing Podcast Ad Agreement Covers

A Marketing Podcast Ad Agreement is a written contract between an advertiser (or agency) and a podcast publisher that sets the business and legal terms for paid advertising placements. Typical content includes campaign scope, ad creative specifications, insertion orders, placement schedule, fee structure and payment terms, metrics and reporting obligations, usage and license rights for creative, confidentiality and data-sharing rules, indemnities and warranties, and termination rights. Exhibits often attach creative specs, sample scripts, insertion orders, and measurement definitions so both parties share a single operational reference for campaign execution.

Why a Formal Agreement Matters for Podcast Advertising
