What the Miscellaneous Exterior Satin document is and when it’s used

The Miscellaneous Exterior Satin is a construction and finish selection addendum commonly used to document specifications, pricing adjustments, or alteration approvals related to exterior satin finishes on buildings, fixtures, or components. It records scope details, material descriptions, color/texture choices, unit counts, pricing adjustments, and any special instructions or warranties. Project managers, contractors, designers, and owners use this form to ensure everyone agrees to the finish specification before ordering materials or beginning work. When executed properly it becomes part of the contract record and may be incorporated by reference into change orders or purchase documents.
