(4) A default in payment of the support for 30 days has not occurred. (5) Other necessary factual allegations contained in the affidavit are erroneous. If you have not objected, the State Controller can deduct the unpaid support from any tax refunds or lottery winnings you would otherwise receive. The money withheld will be paid to the court and you will receive notice of an opportunity to file a claim of exemption in court before the money is paid to the judgment creditor.
