  • Failing to photograph items before pickup increases the chance of disputed damage claims and complicates insurance or warranty recoveries.
  • Vague item descriptions such as 'office furniture' without dimensions or serial numbers impede accurate inventory reconciliation and billing.
  • Scheduling without confirming elevator, loading dock, or security access often causes delays and may incur extra facility fees.
  • Not specifying responsibility for removal costs may leave tenants or departments unexpectedly liable or lead to delayed payment collection.

Penalties and practical risks of incomplete or incorrect forms

Contract Dispute: Unclear terms lead to billing disagreements.
Damage Liability: Unassigned liability may trigger insurance claims.
Access Denial: No access clause can delay removal.
Permit Violations: Unpermitted removals risk fines or work stoppage.
Data Exposure: Hidden data can be exposed in furniture.
Invalid Signature: Improper electronic signing may be unenforceable.
