NOTICE OF JOINT OPERATING AGREEMENT State: County: Operator: (Name and Address) Nonoperators: (Names and Addresses) Effective Date: (Effective Date of Operating Agreement) This is notice that Operator and Nonoperators, named above, have entered into a Joint Operating Agreement dated ____ (the "Agreement") which covers lands located in the county and state named above, which lands are described in Exhibit "A" to this Notice. The Agre ement is on the following form: (e.g.: AAPL Form __ .) The Agreement contains the terms and conditions commonly found in that form of Operating Agreement, with certain additions and deletions. In particular, it should be noted that the Agreement contains provisions affecting the sharing of expenses and revenues, controlling the relinquishment of interests by nonconsenting parties, granting liens, rights of setoff, and recoupment. The Agreement may be further amended and supplemented from time. Any inquiry as to the contents of the Agreement should also include an inquiry as to the contents of any and all amendments and supplements. This Notice is being executed and recorded for the purpose of giving notice to third parties dealing with Operator and Nonoperators of the existence of the Agreement and perfec ting the liens and interests set forth in that Agreement. Each of the undersigned reserve the right to refuse inspection of the Agreement by parties attempting to obtain information for purposes prejudicial to the business interests of the parties to the Agreement. This Notice may be executed in multiple counterparts and shall be binding on all parties signing it, whether or not all parties sign. To facilitate recordation, a single counterpart containing additional signature and acknowledgment pages from other counterparts may be recorded. This Notice is signed by Operator and Nonoperators as of the date of acknowledgment of their signature below, but is effective for all purposes as of the Effective Date stated above.
