What the Personal Services Agreement Jeannie Is

The Personal Services Agreement Jeannie is a standardized independent contractor contract tailored for a named individual (Jeannie) to provide specified personal or professional services to a hiring party. It sets out the parties, scope of work, payment terms, timing, confidentiality, intellectual property assignment, and termination mechanics. The template is intended for use where one individual performs defined services without forming an employment relationship and where parties want a clear written record of obligations, deliverables, and remedies.

Why a Clear Personal Services Agreement Matters

A written agreement reduces ambiguity about responsibilities, clarifies payment and tax treatment, protects intellectual property, and creates an enforceable record of expectations between Jeannie and the client.

Why a Clear Personal Services Agreement Matters

Who Typically Uses the Personal Services Agreement Jeannie

Typical users include individual contractors, small-business clients, and in-house legal or HR teams managing independent engagements.

  • Independent contractors and consultants providing short- to medium‑term professional services.
  • Small and midsize businesses onboarding a named service provider for project-based work.
  • Legal, HR, or procurement staff who need a repeatable contract for individual service relationships.

Use this agreement when you need clear task definitions, payment terms, IP allocation, and an audit trail of execution.

Representative signer profiles

Jeannie — Service Provider

Jeannie signs as the named independent contractor. She should confirm her legal name, tax classification, contact details, and any licensing or insurance required for the services before signing.

Client Representative

The client signatory should be an authorized officer or manager with authority to bind the hiring entity. Verify corporate name, business address, and signing authority prior to execution.

Core Elements to Include in the Agreement
