What the Professional Services PCS Agreement Covers

Professional Services PCS Agreement is a standardized contract used to define the terms under which professional services are provided between a service provider and a client. It typically specifies scope of work, deliverables, schedule, compensation and payment terms, change-order procedures, intellectual property allocation, confidentiality, warranties, limitation of liability, termination rights, and governing law. Organizations in consulting, IT, engineering, and professional services use this agreement to reduce ambiguity and manage expectations. When executed correctly it creates enforceable obligations and can be completed electronically in compliance with U.S. e-signature laws such as ESIGN and applicable state UETA statutes.
