What the Project Approval Final Sign-off Template Is

The Project Approval Final Sign-off Template is a standardized document that records final authorization to close a project, accept deliverables, and release project resources. It summarizes scope completion, outstanding open items, final cost and schedule status, and the explicit consent of authorized signatories to accept project outcomes. Organizations use this template to create an auditable record of project acceptance, transfer ownership to operations or clients, and trigger final invoicing or warranty periods. The template can be executed on paper or electronically and is commonly paired with supporting change logs and final test reports.

Why a Formal Final Sign-off Matters
