What this short-term fixed price agreement covers

Project Management Short-term Fixed Price Agreement is a concise contract that defines scope, deliverables, schedule, and a fixed total fee for a limited-duration project. It allocates responsibilities, acceptance criteria, change-order procedures, and payment milestones between the hiring party and the project manager or contractor. Because compensation is fixed, the agreement sets boundaries for scope changes and risk allocation and typically includes termination rights, warranty and indemnity clauses, and dispute-resolution steps. It is commonly used for defined, short-term engagements where budget certainty and predictable timelines are primary priorities.

Why use a short-term fixed price project agreement

Use a Project Management Short-term Fixed Price Agreement to lock budget and delivery expectations for a limited engagement, reduce billing disputes, and clarify acceptance criteria. The fixed-fee structure shifts certain scope risks to the provider while giving the client cost predictability.
