What the Project Management SPA Invoice Template Is

The Project Management SPA Invoice Template is a standardized, fillable invoice designed for billing project-related services, milestones, and phased work. It organizes client and vendor details, line items, hourly or fixed fees, taxes, payment terms, and any project-phase references so accounting and project teams can reconcile costs quickly. The template supports attachments for timesheets or change orders and is suitable for electronic delivery and signature, with spaces for invoice number, issue date, due date, and remittance instructions to reduce disputes and accelerate payment cycles.

Why use a Project Management SPA Invoice Template

A consistent invoice template reduces billing errors, speeds approvals, and creates a clear audit trail for project phases and change orders. When paired with an eSignature platform that complies with ESIGN and UETA, the template supports legally enforceable electronic records and reduces paper handling while preserving timestamps and signer attribution.

Why use a Project Management SPA Invoice Template

Who typically prepares and receives this invoice

The template is used across project teams, vendors, and finance departments to standardize billing for phased work and service agreements.

  • Project managers and PMOs preparing milestone-based or phase invoices for clients.
  • Independent contractors and subcontractors billing for completed tasks or deliverables.
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable teams processing payments and recording receipts.

Use consistent naming, invoice numbering, and attachment practices so internal teams and external clients can match invoices to purchase orders and work logs.
