What the Project Requirements Verification Form Is

The Project Requirements Verification Form documents and confirms the agreed project scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, timelines, and key contacts before work begins. It is typically completed by the requesting stakeholder and validated by the project manager or delivery lead to reduce scope drift, clarify responsibilities, and create a written record of expectations. The form supports traceability between requirements, design, and acceptance tests and becomes part of the project record used for change control, sign-off, and dispute resolution.

Why a Verification Form Matters for Project Success and Legal Clarity

A completed Project Requirements Verification Form reduces ambiguity, shortens approval cycles, and documents mutual intent to proceed. When signed electronically it meets the U.S. e-signature legal standard under the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. §7001) and state UETA laws, provided intent, consent, attribution, and record retention are satisfied.
