What the Real Estate Process App Agreement Is

The Real Estate Process App Agreement is a standardized contract used to define responsibilities, workflows, and data exchange between parties who deploy or use a real estate process application, including brokers, property managers, vendors, and platform providers. It specifies scope of services, data access, integration points, user roles, performance expectations, and dispute resolution procedures. The agreement also addresses privacy, recordkeeping, and signature methods for transaction documents. This template is intended for U.S. transactions and is structured to support electronic execution, compliant retention, and integration with eSignature platforms that meet ESIGN and UETA requirements.

Why a Formal Agreement Matters for App-Based Real Estate Workflows

Use the Real Estate Process App Agreement to document responsibilities, data handling, and signature procedures across transactional workflows. It reduces ambiguity, supports regulatory compliance with ESIGN and UETA, and creates a clear record for audits, dispute resolution, and operational consistency.
