Release and Waiver of Liability Regarding Repair of Home Appliance(s) Release executed on __________________ (date) , by __________________ (name) of _____________________________________________________________ (street address, city, county, state, zip code) herein referred to as Releasor , in favor of ___________________ (name) of ________________________________________ __________________ (street address, city, county, state, zip code) herein referred to as Releasee . Whereas, due to the nature of the work performed by Releasee, unintentional minor damages sometimes occur to the home and/or furnishing of the home near where the repairs are made, including, but not limited to, damage to wooden contents and surfaces; and Whereas, Releasee desires to be released from any such damages; Now, therefore, for and in consideration of making such necessary repairs requested by homeowner, and other good a valuable consideration, receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Releasor, for himself/herself, his/her spouse, legal representatives, heirs and assigns, hereby releases, waives and discharges Releasee, his employees, officers, agents, owners and/or assigns (hereinafter jointly and severally called Releasees), from all liability to the Releasor, his spouse, legal representatives, heirs and assigns, for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or damages resulting therefrom, on account of minor damages to Releasor’s home and/or furnishing of the home near where the repairs are made, including, but not limited to, damage to wooden contents and surfaces. Releasor understands and agrees that while Releasee intends to render services under this agreement in accordance with generally accepted professional practices, Releasee makes no warranty either express or implied and Releasor releases Releasees from any water damages that occur to said house or its contents as a result of said repairs. In no event shall any damages or costs resulting from the failure of said repairs exceed the cost of said repairs.
