COND ITIONS. This Contract will not take effect, and Law Firm will have no obl iga tion to provide legal services, until Cl ient returns a signed copy of this Con tra ct and pays the deposit called for under paragraph titled "Legal Fees".S COP E AND DUTIES. In addition to paying legal fees, Client shall reimburse La w Fi rm for all costs and expenses incurred by Law Firm, including, but not lim ite d to, process servers' fees, fees fixe d by law or assessed by courts or oth er agenci es, court reporters' fees, long distance telephone calls, messenger an d oth er delivery fees, postage, in -office photocopying at $0.25 per page, par kin g, mileage at $0.25 per mile, investig ation expenses, consultants' fees, exp ert witness fees and other similar items. Client authorizes Law Firm to incur all re asonable costs and to hire any investigators, consultants or expert wit nes ses reasonably nec essary in Law Firm's judgment, unless one or both of the cla use s below are initialed by Client and Law Firm.S TAT EMENTS. Law Firm shall send Client peri odic statements for fees and costs inc urr ed. Client shall pay Law Firm's state ments within 30 days after each sta tem ent's date. Client understands that interest at the rate of fifteen pe r cen t (18%) per annum will be charged on all fees, cost or expenses not paid in ful l with in thirty (30) days. Upon Client' s request Law Firm will provide a sta tem ent wit hin 10 days.D ISC HARGE AND WITHDRAWAL. Client may disch arge Law Firm at any time. Law Fir m may wit hdraw with Client's consent or for good cause. Good cause includes Cl i ent 's brea ch of this Contract, Client's refusal to cooperate with Law Firm or to fol low Law Firm's advice on a materia l matter or any other fact or cir cum stance that would render Law Firm's cont inuing representation unlawful or une thi cal.CONC LUSION OF SERVICES. When Law Firm's se rvices conclude, all unpaid charges sh a ll become immediately due and payable. After Law Firm's services conclude, La w Fi rm will, upon Client's request, deliver Client's file to Client, along wit h an y Clie nt funds or property in Law Firm' s possession.
