What the Showcase Business Contract Is

The Showcase Business Contract is a standardized commercial agreement used to outline terms between a company and third parties for product or service demonstrations, pilot projects, or sales enablement activities. It defines scope, responsibilities, deliverables, intellectual property rights, confidentiality, payment terms, and termination conditions in a single document. When completed and executed by authorized signatories, the contract creates legally binding obligations under U.S. law. This template is adaptable to industry-specific needs, supports electronic completion and signatures, and can be combined with exhibits for schedules, pricing, or technical specifications.

Why Standardize Demonstration and Pilot Terms

Use this Showcase Business Contract to clearly allocate risk, define deliverables, and document commercial terms for demonstrations or pilot engagements. A concise, well-structured contract reduces negotiation time, creates reproducible terms across projects, and supports enforceability when signed electronically under ESIGN and applicable state law.

Why Standardize Demonstration and Pilot Terms

Who Typically Uses This Contract

Most small businesses, sales teams, and legal departments use this contract to standardize demo and pilot agreements across clients and partners.

  • Sales teams and account managers managing product demonstrations and pilot deployments with external customers.
  • Procurement and vendor management when documenting trial terms, approvals, and acceptance criteria for suppliers.
  • Legal and compliance professionals assessing IP, liability, confidentiality, and governing law clauses before execution.

Ensure authorized signatories execute the agreement and preserve signed copies for compliance and future dispute resolution.
