It's probably my favorite show on radio and television, with co-hosts mike Lombardi and daniel gannon as much a part of it as anyone. From the intro to the final words of “the letter," it's a show that's been going since 2002, and I've always found its writing to be some of the best i've read in the sports world. Every week, i'm a little bit more surprised by what I don't expect. On the last episode, i described Lombardi and gannon having to write an opening monologue for the show called “the last letter" about the season that just ended. This week, they went even further: they came up with an entire monologue from the perspective of one of the games' great stories—or at least, the one that everyone in the world seemed to find compelling.
