What the Youth Sector Community Impact Assessment Is

A Youth Sector Community Impact Assessment is a structured report used by programs, funders, and local agencies to document how services for young people affect communities. It aggregates quantitative indicators and qualitative feedback to evaluate reach, equity, outcomes, and unintended consequences, producing an evidence-based summary that supports planning, grant reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Why this assessment matters for programs and funders

The assessment clarifies program outcomes, demonstrates compliance with funding requirements, and identifies service gaps. It supports data-driven decisions, strengthens community partnerships, and provides a documented basis for continuous improvement and public reporting.
