How to eSign a document: fill and sign pdf for free

I want to take a look at how you can use Adobe Reader DC to fill out and sign forms on your computer so I have a form here on my desktop and I'm going to open it right clicking open way I'm going to choose Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and this is a free Adobe program first I'm gonna open the fill and sign tools by clicking on tools in the top left left and choosing fill and sign and across the top here you see there are a variety of tools adding text marking answers with circles X's check marks lines dots and a signing tool so I'll start off by entering a name and this the text entry type is already selected that's in blue there so if I click and start typing it will give me that item now if I want to select a checkbox option I can you know choose the X or the check mark I'll go ahead and choose a check mark click where I want it I can even drag it around change the size to make it exactly how I like if I want to use the circle tool to circle season here I can do that resize it as I need to move it around I'll go back to text entry for the date here and just start typing the date and then we'll go to signing when you want to sign something you'll click on the sign tool here and if you've already used this tool you can save signatures or initials in it or create new ones I'll click on the add signature plus button to add one now if this is maybe just an informal signature you're creating you might be able to use the type tool you could just type your name and it would make it look like a signature however if this is a more legal document you'll probably need to use a more handwritten version you can either have an image you'll need to use a more handwritten version you can either create an image sign a piece of paper take a picture of it save it to your computer and you can upload that image as your signature you can also use the draw tools by using your mouse to go ahead and create your signature right your computer so I'm gonna go ahead and do that so I'm gonna click and hold on my mouse and then drag around here to create the signature and once I've created a signature I like I can go ahead and if I want to save it for future use check that I can click apply and now my signature is available for my cursor just to drag around I'll drop it where I want there's even the option to resize it and place it and when I'm finished filling my form I didn't need to print it I can now save it and email it and I have my form filled out and signed without having to print at all
