AMENDMENT TO OIL AND GAS LEASE (To Amend Land Description to Include Additional Lands) State: County: Lessor: (Name and Address) Lessee: (Name and Address) Effective Date: On (Date of Lease), Lessor, named above, executed and delivered to (Name of Original Lessee if Different from Lessee Named Above), Lessee, an oil and gas lease (the “Le ase”) which is recorded in Volume ____, page ____, of the ____ Records of the county and state named above. The Lease is on and covers lands in that county and state, described as follows: (Description of Lands Contained in the Lease) Lessee, named above, owns the Lease and all rights under the Lease, and desires to amend the Lease to include additional lands. For adequate consideration, Lessor agrees with Lessee that the description of the lands contained in and covered by the Lease is amended so that the lands (the “Amended La nds”) to be covered by the Lease, shall be as follows: (Description of Amended Lands to be Covered by Lease) The Lease, as amended, also covers and includes all other lands owned or claim ed by the Lessor contiguous or adjacent to the Amended Lands. If and when it is determined that the Lessor owns lands adjacent or contiguous to the Amended Lands, which additional lands are not specifically covered and included in the description of the amended Lands that are the subject of this Amendment and covered by the Lease, Lessor agrees to execute and deliver to Lessee additional instruments or amendments, to the Lease, as may be necessary, or reasonably requested, to particularly describe the additional lands and expressly include those la nds in the Lease. Lessor shall grant these additional instruments or amendments to Lessee for the consideration given for this Amendment and the Lease. In all other respects, Lessor adopts, ratifies, and confirms all the terms of the Lease, as amended by this Amendment, and hereby leases, demises, and lets all of the Amended Lands to Lessee, subject to the terms and provisions of the Lease. This Amendment shall extend to and be binding on the heirs, representatives, successors, and assigns of Lessor and Lessee.
