Employment Agreement between Company and Consultant with Confidentiality Agreement - This form is an agreement between an independent contractor acting as a consultant and the consultant's client. Included in the agreement is an agreement not to disclose trade secrets of the client such as inventions, products, processes, machinery, apparatus, prices, discounts, costs, business affairs, future plans, or technical data. Employee Permission to do a Background Check - This is a form signed by an employee or prospective employee granting an employer permission to do a background check. Agreement for Professional or Technical Services Relating to Planning - This form is to be used when the company will be providing professional services. It is drafted in favor of the company providing the services. Consulting Agreement - A consultant is someone who gives expert or professional advice. Consultants are ordinarily hired on an independent contractor basis, therefore, the hiring party is not liable to others for the acts or omissions of the consultant. As distinguished from an employee, a consultant pays their own Social Security, income taxes without payroll deduction, has no retirement or health plan rights, and often is not entitled to worker's compensation coverage. Agreement for Consulting and Training Services - A consultant is an individual who possesses special knowledge or skills and provides that expertise to a client for a fee. Consultants help all sorts of businesses find and implement solutions to a wide variety of problems, including those related to business start-up, marketing, manufacturing, strategy, organization structure, environmental compliance, health and safety, technology, and communications. Some consultants are self-employed, independent contractors who offer specialized skills in a certain field; other consultants work for large consulting firms. Self-Employed Independent Contractor Employment Agreement - A company agrees to hire a contractor to perform work on the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement. The contractor agrees that all financial and accounting records will remain the confidential property of the company. The form also provides that the company will reimburse the contractor for all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the contractor with the performance of his/her duties. III.
