Contract for Breeding Services of Bull This Agreement for breeding services is made this the___day of ______________, 20___, between ____________________________ (hereafter referred to as AOwner@), having his principal place of business at _______________________________________ (street address, city, state, zip code) and ________________________ (hereafter referred to as AKeeper@), having his principal place of business at _____________________________________ (street address, city, state, zip code). For and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained in this Agreement, the parties agree as follows: 1. Destination and Delivery and Use of Bull A. Owner shall furnish to Keeper on _________________ (date), a purebred bull of _____________breed, age _______, the bull to be delivered to Keeper located at ____________________________ (street address, city, state, zip code) , at the expense of ____________________ (Keeper or Owner). B. Ownership of and title to the bull shall remain in Owner. C. The bull shall not be removed from Keeper=s possession without the prior, express, and written consent of Owner. D. The bull shall be given good care by Keeper in conformity with practices generally approved by successful cattle raisers in the community of __________. E. Keeper will have the exclusive use of the bull for breeding Keeper=s own cows while the bull is in Keeper=s possession. K. Keeper may, at his option, use the bull to breed cows for other persons. 2. Consideration Keeper shall pay to Owner a fee of $____________ for said breeding services of bull, payable as follows: _______________________________________________________ (weekly, monthly, quarterly, based on production of calves, etc) 3. Bang=s Disease The bull shall be received by Keeper free from Bang=s disease, and Keeper shall protect the bull from such infection while in Keeper=s care. 4. Extension of Agreement; Return of Bull A. Keeper may retain the bull as long as he desires up to _________________ (date), providing he abides by the covenants as set forth in this agreement. B. Return of the bull on a date after __________________ (date), may be arranged by mutual consent of Owner and Keeper. C. When Keeper desires to terminate this agreement, he shall give Owner at least _______ days= notice of Keeper=s intention to return the bull to Owner. 5. Termination Owner may remove the bull and terminate this agreement at any time Keeper fails to fulfill any of the terms and covenants set forth in this agreement to be performed by him. 6. Damage or Death Keeper agrees to protect and indemnify Owner from and against any and all responsibility for personal or property damage done by the bull during the term of this agreement. Keeper will not be responsible for damage or death of the bull except as such damage or death may be caused by Keeper=s acts or negligence.
