What the Employee Terms and Conditions of Employment Covers

Employee Terms and Conditions of Employment is a written agreement that sets out the rights, duties, and expectations between an employer and an employee. It typically covers position title, duties, compensation, benefits, work schedule, probationary terms, confidentiality, intellectual property, termination notice, and dispute resolution. In the United States, electronic delivery and signatures are generally valid under ESIGN and state UETA laws when intent, consent, attribution, and retention requirements are met.
