Conduct, Release & Medical Authorization

Code of Conduct: The Participant agrees to abide by the retreat's code of conduct, including directions from retreat leaders and staff, respect for property, prohibition of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and abusive behavior. Failure to comply may result in immediate dismissal at the Participant's expense and without refund.

Release and Assumption of Risk: The undersigned acknowledges that participation in retreat activities involves inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the undersigned releases and holds harmless the retreat organizers, sponsoring parish or school, volunteers and agents from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising out of participation, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Medical Authorization: If the Participant is a minor, the Parent/Guardian hereby authorizes retreat staff to seek and consent to medical treatment, hospitalization, anesthesia, or surgery for the Participant in the event of emergency when timely consent cannot reasonably be obtained. The Parent/Guardian assumes financial responsibility for all such treatment and agrees to indemnify retreat organizers for expenses incurred on behalf of the Participant.

Indemnity: The undersigned agrees to indemnify and defend the organizers against any claims, suits or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from Participant's negligence or breach of these terms.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations received in writing more than 14 days before the session will receive a full refund less any nonrefundable deposit. Cancellations within 14 days or no-shows are not eligible for refund except at the discretion of organizers.
