What the HR Demolition Subcontract is and when it’s used

The HR Demolition Subcontract is a written subcontract used when a primary contractor engages a subcontractor to perform demolition work. It documents scope of work, site access, hazardous-material handling, permits, schedule, payment terms, insurance and bonding, indemnity, and change-order procedures. The form allocates risk between parties, identifies required licenses and permits, and establishes acceptance criteria for completed work. Use this subcontract to create a clear contractual record that supports compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local permitting rules while protecting payment and lien rights for both contractor and subcontractor.

Why you should use an HR Demolition Subcontract

A clear subcontract reduces disputes by assigning responsibilities for safety, hazardous material removal, permits, schedule, and payment. It preserves lien rights, clarifies insurance obligations, and documents acceptance criteria so both parties understand deliverables and remedies.

Why you should use an HR Demolition Subcontract

Each listed party should review project-specific permit, environmental, and insurance requirements before signing.
