The Student is responsible for maintaining personal health insurance unless otherwise provided for in writing by the Institution.

Indemnification: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Institution and Host Organization, their officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, losses or damages arising out of the Student's negligent or willful acts or omissions during placement, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Institution or Host.

Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

The Student will keep confidential all proprietary information and client data observed or received during placement and will comply with Host confidentiality policies. All work product created by the Student during placement shall be owned by the Host unless otherwise agreed in writing; the Student grants the Institution and Host a non-exclusive license to use non-confidential work product for academic assessment.

Termination and Suspension

This Contract may be terminated by the Institution or the Host for cause upon written notice to the Student for failure to comply with policies, unsatisfactory performance, or behavior that jeopardizes safety or client services. The Institution may suspend placement pending investigation. The Student may withdraw from placement upon written notice to the Institution and Host provided any academic or administrative consequences are acknowledged in writing.
