hi there in this video i'll show how to use html email signature with macmail to add a html email signature on macmail first you have to create a signature on the mail preferences let's do it this is the mail app you have to go to mail preferences click on the plus sign here you see different type of types of email accounts as per your email setup but currently i have one email account that's icloud email account so i have to click on the plus sign over to all signatures a test signature signature will come up this is named after hash one you can you can rename it as you want i'm just making it test then you have to drag it to the email account where you want to uh use the signature so in my icloud signature i want to drag it there i dragged it there and you see one signature is here so it's all for the mail up setting now you have to go to finder finder and click on the go button click on the go and then press the option key press the option key on your keyboard and you will see when you press the option key the library come up you have to click the library then the mail then v4 then mail data then signatures and you will see a file with signature extinction is here mail signature extension is here a file with the mail signature extension you have to pass the signature code on this file so where is my signature code to get the signature code from this html file you have to open it with any browser but don't use the suffering software manipulates the code you you should open it on either firefox or google chrome i am using now the google chrome you see the signature is loaded here then you have to go to right click and view paste source this is the signature code this is the whole signature code you have to copy it to copy it please press ctrl command a and command c respectively cmda plus cmdc respectively and then go to the signature file open it with any code editor or the text edit application that that is on your mac by pre default i am i'm searching that you have to click on open with and if you don't see any software here then click on other go to the text edit app open it and you have to replace the body to body this area this area and keep this metadata same don't touch this you have to replace with this and first the code you just copied from the browser and then save it the final thing is uh you have to do is go to get info and log the file and that's it now to use the signature you have to go to the mail app you have it open uh already you need to quit this and then reopen the mail up or if you don't have it open then you can directly go to the mail then click compose and select that signature i created the test signature first you can remember then you need to select it from here and you see your signature is here this was our signature this was our signature this was the signature and you see it's here now you can write your text and send it that's it please let me know if you have any question please subscribe to my channel to get more email tips like this thank you
