hey what is up everybody it's aj here and in today's video i'm going to teach you how you can add an email signature to microsoft outlook in mac os in front of us here you can see we are in microsoft outlook on mac os and what you want to do is go into the top left hand corner where it says outlook and scroll down to the third option where it says preferences and open up your preferences once you've got your preferences opened up you're going to see basically three columns personal settings email and other in email you've got reading composing and signatures we're going to simply open up signatures here you can see you can add i've already got a signature in here i'm going to delete this one for now delete yes and here you can see there is a list or potential list of signature names what we're going to do is go down to this little plus button here and we're going to add in a brand new signature we're going to call this one tech tips and by default it just puts your name in there but here you can paste in any signature that you want i've already got one pre-built so i'm just going to paste that in and it says aldo lucero microsoft specialist aldo james tech tips outlook.com and then of course i've got some of my microsoft badges and fundamentals here as well basically anything you want to put into your email signature you can and then what you want to do is hit the save button at the top and we're going to see here once i close out of this it's now called tech tips and then it gives me a preview of my signature of course uh it's squashed up here but when you paste it into an actual text it's just it's full length and then you have the option of choosing to use this signature for basically which account you want to use it for i only have one account so it's the only signature i'm going to use here but then i can choose to use it for basically every new message i can have no signature or i can choose this or a different signature and then of course for email replies and forwards i can either have no signature which i don't recommend or i can select on none and change it to tech tips so whenever i hit reply i now reply and my email signature is already built in there next i'm just going to x out of here and open up a brand new email and you're going to see my signature has already appeared in that email so there you guys have it it is that easy to add a signature in microsoft outlook on mac os of course if you like this video make sure you give it a thumbs up and if you want to supercharge raise your computer hit that subscribe button as well thanks for watching and we'll see you next time
