How to eSign a document: how to change signature on android phone
[Music] hey guys soccer from saket tech and today's video i'm going to show you guys how to sign a document on your samsung galaxy smartphone so for example if somebody emailed you a document that you want to sign i'm going to show you how to get that done super easy and then email that right back to that person or just share it back in any other way so here's just one example so let's say somebody sent me a document i downloaded that document i can sign it just like this one no problem right on my phone within seconds and i'm good to go so let's uh discover how to get this done now i do want to let you know i'm going to show you guys how to get it done both on a samsung galaxy note device or any other phone that supports the s-pen and also i'm going to show you how to get it done on a regular smartphone a samsung smartphone that does not support the s pen so you can do it on both of these guys no problem now to accomplish this task you do need the latest version of samsung notes application so if you want to get the latest version if you don't have it already all you want to do is click the link down below it's going to take you to my website once you're at the website you want to scroll down a little bit and simply click that link right here under download and that's going to allow you to download the latest version of the samsung notes application i want to make sure you guys are up to date okay so once you have done that let's get started so first let's see how to get it done on the samsung galaxy note device or any other device with the s pen support so what you want to do is you want to launch your notes application okay launch the notes application and the very first thing you want to do is on the top it's there's a little icon that says pdf plus that allows you to import pdf documents so in this example somebody emailed me a sample contract that i downloaded onto my phone and it's under my files so you do have the my files application in every samsung phone so if i go to my downloads here's my sample contract right here so what i'm going to do is i'm going to import that sample pdf document so i'm going to import that sample pdf document i'm going to tap on plus okay i'm going to go to my download folder and i am going to look for that pr sample contract which is right here i'm gonna select that i'm gonna tap on done now what this did was it imported that pdf file into my phone now once i'm here i can use one finger or two fingers to swipe up and down inside the document okay so let's go all the way down where we have the signature portion and let's say that i'm the contractor okay so i'm supposed to sign right in this area so all you do is if you have your s pen you want to make sure this is selected so that's the pen mode okay so in my case it is selected you might have the keyboard mode enabled you don't want that so you want to click this one if you're in the keyboard mode click this icon here and that's going to activate actually click with your fingers and that's going to activate this pen mode right here then you click the pen and choose the pen that you want to use you can use a fountain pen a pencil whatever you want i'm going to use this regular fountain i'm going to keep the number at 10. you can make it thicker you can change the color from blue to black whatever color you want to sign the document in and once you do that all you do is exit out use two fingers to move this around zoom in to the area that you want to sign on and just sign your name okay so i'm just gonna an example done so that's signed now once you have signed the document you want to share this back with the person that sent it to you so all you do is you tap on this icon on the top the three dots on the top you tap on it and you have two options you can save the file as a pdf or you can share it directly so if i save it as a pdf i have the options i can do pdf microsoft word image file text file whatever i'm going to do pdf that's a standard in the industry so i'm going to tap on it and then i can save it tap on go to downloads tap on done and i can just say x now that's saved and i can attach that to an email or you can tap this guy to make it easy for yourself simply tap on share and again choose pdf file and from here you can choose any medium by which you can share the signed document you can do nearby share you can send an email from this list right over here i can go to my gmail onedrive whatever you want to do you can just tap on gmail for example it gets attached from two and then send it over and you're done that's how easy it is to sign a document on a samsung galaxy note device now let's do the same thing on this one right here this does not have an s-pen so you gotta use your fingers but it can be just as precise all right so the process is very similar so we do have to launch the samsung notes application so it is going to be right here and again you're going to see the pdf plus icon you're going to click on it and then i'm gonna go into my download folder that's where i downloaded my sample contract i'm gonna import the one i can select one or two i'm just gonna do one right now obviously tap on done and that's gonna get imported okay now you can see that the keyboard pops up here it did not pop up because you had the aspen so let me just minimize that keyboard uh you can use one or two fingers to move around again let's go all the way down let's zoom in to the area that you want to sign on and what you're gonna do right now is you want to click this button at the bottom the button that has a little pen scribble on it you click on it and then the pen shows up okay you choose any pen you want the same way so let's just go with this one let's do number 2015 all right let's just pick red in this example just as an example and i'm going to x this out and that's it now you're going to use your finger to sign the contract just like that okay again that's just a random signature but that document is now signed and once you're done signing it you want to click this guy either save as file or share so if i tap on share i get the pdf option you tap on that all right and then you simply do the sharing process you can send an email text message do a nearby share whatever that you want to do but this is so easy and so much better than printing a document signing a document scanning a document and then sending it over this is a fast quick and easy method if you have a samsung galaxy smartphone and of course all samsung lc smartphones do come pre-installed with the samsung notes application that we've been using you just want to make sure that application is up to date with the latest features and that's exactly why i dropped the link down below so you can go and update it using the link all right now if you do have any questions comments or concerns let me know have a fantastic day all right all right so if you found this video useful make sure to subscribe to saki tech by clicking that button and also click that bell icon on the side to make sure you get notified every time i upload a new video and if you do use twitter instagram or facebook you can follow me at sakitech online to get the latest updates as well alright have a fantastic day
