good morning guys I am 13 weeks pregnant today if you saw my post yesterday I kind of explained why I haven't been posting that stuff on top of just the pregnancy exhaustion in the first trimester and then it was like I got through the move and then all of a sudden about a week after I was starting to get settled the nausea kicked in and I do want to do some videos on you know symptoms in the first trimester and all that stuff but I'm not going to be promising you any videos right now but today like I said I'm 13 weeks pregnant and I have an elective ultrasound scheduled at 10:00 a.m. to find out the gender of the baby I know that I mentioned in I believe it was my house tour video that I was going to be doing the sneak peak blood test at 8 weeks pregnant because I did that with Anakin and the results were accurate but with Anakin I didn't have any male DNA in the house and how it works is if it detects any male DNA in your blood sample then you're having a boy because you know as a woman you wouldn't have male DNA in your system unless you have a baby boy inside you but there can be cross-contamination so because I have male DNA in the house this time I figured just wait a few extra weeks but I'm really sorry because I know that you guys have probably been waiting patiently for my gender reveal I didn't want to find out the gender and then bond with a baby boy or a baby girl and then find out via ultrasound later that it was the opposite gender because it's just hard because it's like you visualize one gender you visualize one baby and then it's a totally different baby you know you name it and you bond with it I didn't want to go through with that and the test is 99.1% accurate and as long as you're scrubbing cut your nails and you scrub it all off it should be accurate but I mean I'm still breastfeeding and I'm holding Anakin so much he's my baby and he's a boy so I mean his DNA is all over me so before the reveal I wanted to just put this out there I think that it's a girl now I've been thinking it was a boy this whole time because male sperm swim the fastest and my egg was already there I had already ovulated it was seven hours after I ovulated so obviously the male sperm would get there faster than the female sperm but that's not a hundred percent guaranteed and I've been looking at my cravings and they've been mostly sweet since pretty much right when I started getting the nausea at about eight really right at eight weeks I believe it was on the day that I turned eight weeks I got two weeks of nausea and from that point on I've been favoring sweet food over salty I mean I'm not eating sweets at every single meal but it is something that I'm favoring and that's how it was this summer if you look at like the old wives tales thing they say that if you're having a girl it's sweet cravings if you're having a boy it's more salty so that's just one thing but I also feel like I've been too confident that it's a boy and if you're new to my channel I definitely want a boy because I have an 18 month old son 18 months I think I'm not sure the date I think tomorrow he'll be 18 months old so I would really love for him to have a little baby brother close an age like a built-in best friend but either way like the child being healthy is the most important thing to me and I got my blood work back and there's no they detect like Down syndrome and a lot of abnormalities like that and all of that is in the clear which is a big relief for me you know because of my daughter but I'm just going to stop rambling right now and fast-forward to my ultrasound head body there's the heart beating little legs here criss crossed hi little one how cute little profile coming through here there's a little nose lips chin forehead little legs here lets listen to the heartbeat beautiful heartbeat we're at approximately 154 beats per minute that's exactly what I got the other day excellent beautiful the little hands are to the mouth right here see that lets go ahead and go into the leg area here is it okay if i give you a little tap come on kick those legs there goes those legs these two were very uncooperative when it came to this part the gender yeah I had a whole smoothie so did you yeah like as we were driving okay perfect I think it's sunk in so that's amazing so I'm just gonna kind of be following the leg area here behind the leg different angles oh my god we're getting closer okay now I'm thinking I was wrong getting closer oh my gosh is it a girl I was thinking a boy initially and now I'm like I was totally wrong yeah let me I'm just gonna get a couple more angles to make sure there's no cords sweeping through I'm gonna be extra careful make sure we get all of this I keep thinking I see something there and I want a boy for him and it's like driving me crazy so right here on this angle we look for the nub see there if it's going parallel out the back of the baby's bottom or straight up toward the heart so this one looks parallel so let me every so often I see a shot and there's nothing there and I'm like wait look at those legs go baby's doing a flip now I felt him yesterday for the first time I couldn't believe it 13 weeks he full did like a somersault and I stopped in the middle the store and looked at my daughter like that was a move that was nothing else that was definitely baby right look at how active your baby is that's not me moving that's your baby thank you for the smoothie the sugar oh my god is it a boy I'm like back and fourth back and fourth then that obviously looks like a girl here we go it's a... it is girl I just keep seeing something pop up like I saw the three lines and then every so often there's like a pop-up and I'm like which one is it how do you do this for a living I know trust me so much pressure but so we look from multiple angles sometimes early on with the girly parts they will look swollen at the angle like a little nub but if it is a boy you'll see it like super pronounced nice and clear yeah with him it was like oh yeah and he was 12 weeks so you can even see the little 3 lines coming in right here totally flat leg leg nothing there oh my gosh thank you you're welcome yeah so like right there it kinda looks like oh what is that ya that's what I kept seeing like it looks like but if you change the angle you need that side angle that's how they were able to tell with him it was just sticking up exactly exactly well there's so much cute girl stuff out there right now you'll have so much fun Summer it's a girl it's a baby girl do you see the screen yeah and then there's that little parallel right out the back of the baby's bottom okay so if it's a boy it pops up right in here above the thigh bone and then girl shoots straight out the baby's bottom well she looks so good in there can I see one more profile if that's possible sure I'm just dying to see oh she has a tiny little nose there yeah because I was like I feel like her hand's sticking out or something yeah that's her hand but I mean in the other one that one's perfect that's a perfect profile okay yeah perfect little button nose right so cute congratulations did you guys want to see anything else today let me know no that's good yeah you see right here that's the little nub that's exactly that was the shot with him that was like okay yep there's something or nothing yeah exactly thank you so much that's a good shot ya of course it's always nice to keep seeing it over and over you don't want to go back and be like wait because I don't want to find out at my anatomy scan one of those people I know those are terrible stories because you like fall in love with a certain baby and then it's a totally different baby exactly that's why we're so like take our time and make sure I know and you weren't answering me the whole time I know I was like oh let me just make sure alrighty congratulations thank you it's a girl you guys it's a baby girl I cannot believe it I couldn't believe it because yeah I've been having more sweets cravings so I was thinking that made more sense that it was a girl like I did with Summer and with Anakin I was all about salt but she's beautiful she's so beautiful and Summer wanted a baby sister so bad when we found out Anakin was a boy she was really upset so I mean I'm glad that she's getting the baby sister she wanted even though she wanted a baby brother again cuz she wanted a baby like Anakin you're happy right or yeah you're gonna have a little baby sister did you see her you were watching right yeah I was watching the screen were you watching the screen yeah and you saw her yeah were you happy it was a girl or were you disappointed happy you're happy yeah Anakin your baby sister's in mamas tummy you're gonna be a big brother you're gonna have a little sister to take care of yeah you love the baby do you love the baby you're gonna be such a good big brother mom what do you want to call it I have no idea that's another big thing I have my boy name I've had my boy name for like years I mean I had Anakin's name and then I had this other name in the back of my mind and then when I was pregnant with him I came up with this name and was like okay I'll use that if I have another boy down the line so the whole time I've been like you know when I was TTC-ing and just this whole 13 weeks of pregnancy I've had the boy's name and I don't have my girl's name because the name I had when I was pregnant with Anakin I have the first in middle name but it's so overused now it wasn't it's the name I wanted for my daughter for my second daughter if I had a girl I've wanted since pretty much right after I had Summer and it just got more and more and more popular as the years went on and now I mean I love it I think it's the most beautiful name but it's so popular everyone I mean moms chase their daughters and call their name in front of me I want to say the name but I don't because I'm still not sure maybe I'll use it but they'll call their their little girls names in front of me when the little girls are running away I'm telling you this happens all the time you know when your kid starts running away you call them by their name so that's when you find out what kids names are and there are so many kids with this name and there's youtubers who have named their daughters this and I just don't want to be like make it appear like I'm copying people when really I wanted this name way before the big burst of its use got out there but anyway I do not have a girl's name when I come up with it it's gonna take a while because I'm really gonna have to adjust and like call the baby by certain names and see if it feels right I can't believe I'm having a baby girl I'm having a little girl again and it's just totally different this time you know what I mean like it'll be a totally different experience I'm so happy and I know that God knows what he's doing and I was meant to conceive a girl I truly believe that so Anakin's not gonna have a little boy best friend but he's gonna have a little girl to have a close relationship with and I think that's actually going to help him in his future and his being able to understand girls you know being close in age with a little girl sibling I think that's going to help him a lot so yeah if you guys enjoyed this video please
