next oh yeah well actually when I caused because the whole area was down for two days they actually sent me an email saying that there was a credit to the account and so it should show up on the neck bill so I'm not feeling a lot more but give me a credit for the trouble call the internet equipment it is also a service adjustment so yeah those were credit if that's what you feel right now is 3404 business oh yeah thank you okay so this is this is the tip okay um my bill and I just want to show something really quick my bill was $59.99 and I literally just moved 2 weeks ago and then I was mailed this promotion from Comcast Xfinity right and so this is $19.99 for 12 months and so the technician says something was wrong with the line so he was like they shouldn't be charging that $60.00 to come out and then once I found out this was getting mailed out I called them and I said look if you're charging me $59.99 plus the 10 dollars for the box why did I just get this in the mail and so what I found out was so xfinity comcast people in general they'll send out mass listings or promotional stuff so what you need to do is let me just give you a verbal tip the whole point of this is you need to if you are currently on one or you're looking around one of the first things you need to do is find out every provider that's in your area that you can do service with that's one of the first things I did when I moved here I'm a newbie at this crap but I learned a lot and I just want to give just a couple tips learn all the providers and then once you do that call them up about their current promotions or whatever they're doing find that out and compare it to the other if you possibly can now my case I'm stuck with Xfinity unfortunately and so they're the only provided that's in this area that I'm at so I was kind of stuck with them and so I was just I called around and Bend another thing you need to do is you need to ask your friends and family how much they're paying because if I told my friend that is actually from here and my friend was like you should be paying that much for Internet just internet I don't have cable and and phone and all this other stuff I just have internet and I wanted decent right because I work from home so what you need to do is find out the provider you need to talk to your friends and family compare the queue and then if you ever get promotional stuff in the mail keep it go to your local you know store whatever and say hey I got this in the mail now they may not give you that $19.99 but what they can do is they can prorate your account so which you heard on my phone call when they prorated my account from $59.99 all the way down to $39.99 because I called them so never ever ever just accept what you're getting paid or what you're paying for for services whether it's internet at home at your business at wherever always always always look into the promotional acts about the promotional and then also even though you may be getting a promotional deal one lady I called one agent and she locked me in on $36 a month but I read the fine print and it was actually for 37 month contracts and that's just ridiculous that's not what I signed up for and what was funny was and also in the very very small print there was a 350 charge if you didn't cancel in the first 30 days so if I didn't pay attention and all I felt was oh I got the $36 now great but then I didn't realize they locked me in for 37 months I would have been screwed so read the fine print don't forget to read the fine print and keep calling them and make sure that you have the right amount and if not make sure you negotiate your amount especially if certain things happen like outage or a weather thing whatever happens happens but let me tell you something you want to make your money but you also want to keep your money and I learned this with Xfinity it's my first time dealing with them with internet but I negotiated I got my rate down I got my raise down $20 of less and so the only other way I can do it is if I got rid of the modem which I'm not because I don't really so I feel like going to the store and all this other stuff I might later on but the moral of the story make sure not only make your money but keep your money so no matter what service you have make sure if there is any promotional where they mail it to you or you see it at the mall or you see your friends having it call your company and negotiate negotiate negotiate negotiate negotiate because $19.99 pretty much what the agent told me was yeah ma'am unfortunately we can't give you the 99 9 but we can work with you and the best thing is you was 39.99 and that's way more reasonable for the speed and for the usage of the account and so I like to keep my money I also like to make my money but this was just me being a newbie but also using my common sense like you know what let me stay on these people and make sure that they take off the charges that they do what
