The following agreement is between CS Kennels (Craig and Sindija Schneider) , hereafter referred to as “Breeder”/ “Seller” and , hereafter referred to as “Purchaser”/ “Buyer”, for the sell and purchase of one purebred dog of the Labrador Retriever Breed.

In consideration of a purchase price of $ which includes a three-hundred-fifty dollar non-refundable deposit, The breeder transfers in fee simple all rights, privileges, and responsibilities associated with the ownership of a Male or Female dog of the Labrador Retriever breed to Purchaser as of the date and time specified below. This represents the entire agreement between the Breeder and the Purchaser in an (outright or Co-ownership) sale.

This dog is warranted only for the purpose of being a companion animal, not for any other purpose or reasons. No warranty is given to the buyer for any special purpose or function of this dog. This dog is not to be used for any illegal or immoral activities and is not to be used for any type of puppy mill, dog farm or other mass producing or money making operation.

This dog is sold with limited registration (unless otherwise noted).

This dog is to be spayed or neutered (unless otherwise noted) as soon as the puppy is mature 6-7 months and no later than 1 year of age). In the event that the purchaser’s are unable to keep the dog or provide an appropriate home in accordance with this agreement, the dog will be returned to the breeder. Purchasers agree to notify the breeder if any such contingency arises and will not abandon the dog to a shelter or rescue. Purchaser agrees not to sell this dog to any retail company or establishment. Any changes to this contract must be in writing and signed by both parties. This dog is sold to you as a pet only and nothing further.

Buyer Initials

We agree that the dog is not purchased for resale nor will it be used or trained for activities which are illegal or for which it is not suited by reason of temperament or conformation. Specifically, it will not be used as a guard or attack dog or fight other animals.

The breeder warrants the dog to be in good health as of the time of sale. In the event of any genetic disorder which is sufficiently serious and life threatening, in the opinion of two qualified veterinarians, and all nutrition guidelines were followed, the breeder agrees

* This warranty is good for one full year after purchase.

Purchaser must have the dog seen by a Veterinarian of purchaser’s choice within 36 hours of picking up the dog. Failure to have the pup vet checked or notify breeder of health problems immediately will void this warranty. The breeder is not responsible for vet bills incurred by buyer. Said dog may be returned to the breeder within the 36 hours following purchase if declared to be in a life-threatening condition, return shipping cost will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Replacement puppy will be made upon availability and for the same value of the puppy listed above, only if all requirements listed below are met.

*The dog/puppy is declared to be in a life-threatening condition by a practicing licensed veterinarian within 36 hours of the buyer obtaining physical possession of named dog/puppy and a written report by the vet is submitted to seller.

If the dog/puppy dies within 36 hours, you must have followed the veterinarian’s advice and have a necropsy performed (at buyers expense), by a state lab and provide seller a copy of the report. There will be no cash refunds for any reason.

The Terms of our Hip Guarantee are as follows:

- For a Hip claim, the dog must have had their hips X-rayed by the age of 26 months to be covered by this Guarantee. All X-rays must be submitted to the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) for evaluation by Veterinary Radiologists. Proof of genetic dysplasia from the OFA as well as proof of the animal being spayed or neutered must be presented to the breeder. Buyer accepts responsibility for not over feeding the dog (which can also bring about hip dysplasia). Buyer accepts responsibility to not jog with puppy or allow puppy to jump from heights (i.e. from car or pickup) before 18 months of age. Dog must not be found to be obese or overweight.

- This Guarantee is not transferable. To make a claim against this Guarantee, the original owner who bought this dog must still own the dog.

- To make a claim against this Guarantee, the dog must not have sired or whelped a litter, and must be returned this breeder with his/her AKC.

- In the event of a legitimate claim against this Guarantee, the puppy will be replaced or the full purchase price of the dog will be fully refunded (at our option).

- Our financial responsibility will be limited to this original purchase price of the puppy or a replacement puppy (at our option). All veterinary bills accumulated by owners are the financial responsibility of the owner.

The breeder certifies that the dog is eligible for registration under the Regulations of the American Kennel Club as a purebred Labrador Retriever and will provide forms for such a registration. The breeder reserves the right to affix the kennel names. “Kennel Prefix: and supply a registry name for the dog.

The purchaser agrees to maintain the dog in a humane environment and properly train and care for it. Specifically, the dog will be properly licensed and inoculated against rabies, distemper, parvo virus, and other communicable diseases as recommended by a qualified veterinarian. It is strongly recommended to keep your dog on year round heartworm preventative.

Seller strongly recommends that Buyer attend Obedience Classes with Puppy and provide proper socialization opportunities for Puppy. Seller shall not be held responsible for acts of Puppy, which are due to Buyer’s negligence. Seller also recommends a form of positive identification, such as: Microchip or tattoo.

Seller does not guarantee against hypoglycemia or any other common health issues such as diarrhea, eye defects, wormy stool, Coccidiosis, ear mites, external/internal parasites, allergies or skin problems involving dermatitis, and stress due to shipping or new environment. Puppies are susceptible to pneumonia and other infections due to drafts, cold temperature, and stress from shipping, etc, and are vulnerable to viral infections including Parvo and Corona Virus. This warranty does not provide for accidental death of this puppy. Nor does it cover minor conditions that are common to the breed such as: ectropion, cherry eye, bloat (Gastric Dilation-Volvulus), HOD, etc. Any and all above mentioned minor and/or major health issues need to be examined by a licensed veterinarian if they occur, and the advice of the veterinarian should be followed. Seller will not be responsible for any accidents after buyer gains physical possession of the puppy/dog, regardless of method of shipping and/or pickup. All responsibilities of the Seller of the dog/puppy are released at the time you pick up your puppy or it has been shipped.

Vaccinations: Complete all vaccinations. Puppies should be vaccinated by 6, 9, 12, and 15-16 weeks of age, then at 6 months and 12 months, and every year after from their first birthday. Do not expose your puppy to other dogs until a minimum of 4 vaccinations have been received at 15 weeks of age. This includes trips to stores like Petsmart and dog parks. It is advisable to not expose them to anyone who has dogs that are not current on vaccinations. Certain diseases like Parvo can be carried on shoes.

Follow the Breeders or Veterinarian’s Advice on feeding and nutritional needs. Only feed a Large Breed Formula. Breeder strongly recommends an elevated food dish.

Please provide a safe and clean environment for you Puppy. No pet is to be tied up on a chain or rope for any period of time. If Pet is tied up for any period of time, Breeder has the right to remove pet and take ownership. Labradors are to be an indoor/outdoor pet. They are not to be left outside in weather that is either too hot or too cold in temperature without proper shelter and clean drinking water.

There is no oral representation or warranties not contained herein. This contract of sale contains the entire agreement between parties. All implied guarantees are hereby excluded. This contract is legal and may be enforced by legal means at the Buyer’s expense and all disputes must be settled in Harris County, Houston, Texas. This dog is sold to you as a pet only. Size, Color, Quality, Temperament and Fertility is not guaranteed. By signing below, you agree that you have thoroughly read the entire contract and agree to abide by its entirety. Everything listed and mentioned above in this contract is legal and binding. The buyer has read and agrees to the above written guarantee.
