foreign and today I want to share on how I automate my Airbnb messaging using hospital I've been using hospital about six months now and out of all the messaging software I'm use I really like this one I want to share my favorite features and the different messaging that I use to send to my guests and I just want to make your life easier I want to be able to help you automate your Airbnb so you can invest your time in other things when you first log into hospital this is what it looks like well when you go on go to dashboard this is what it looks like and this takes you to your latest check-ins and this is my next check-in that I have so first thing is you want to sync it to your Airbnb you're gonna go to settings you're gonna go to connected accounts and and connected accounts these are the different booking platforms that you could connect it to so you would say connect to Airbnb and you would press connect and usually you would have to sign into your Airbnb account but I already um did all that so once you have done that then you are fully connected with Airbnb and hospital so let's just go to the main page so when you first go in here you have the left hand side and these all are all the different tabs and I'll like walk through um what each top is so on the left hand side you have inbox like these are all the messages that are that's in Airbnb so exactly when you pull up Airbnb these would be the same messages like in your Airbnb app I don't really use this I if I at any time I want to message my guests I just do it on the app um you can actually message it through here too but I just use the app then you have the properties Tab and these are just all the listings that you connect to hospital don't really go here there is also a calendar view it's kind of very similar to Airbnb as well it shows you all the like the prices of um of your Airbnb but I don't think this is like a girl I think this is like what um Hospital also like set up like a pricing for you as well but I don't really uh use this but the main top I would say that I go on the most is guest experience this is where you edit your messaging edit the rules when you want to send it to and I'll give a walkthrough in the overview tab it's going to show you all the pending messages that's going to be sent in the future for your guests and I usually use the I like to go on the messaging rules um a lot and in the messaging rules you have the before booking and tracking and singing and after checkout but the messaging rule has everything like all the messaging before booking uh the messaging before check-in and staying in five messagings that I use for my guests and the first thing is a new reservation when I guess books my Airbnb this message is sent right away just to confirm with the guest that this is the amount of guess this is how long they're staying just kind of to you know double check that they put the right amount of guess then you have a check-in instruction that I sent three days before and then one day before check-in and then the first morning just to check up on how they're doing and of course I check out instructions also another message such that I do scent is also a review request so after like a day or actually not a day but actually two out two hours after the checkout I like to kind of remind them like oh please give us um a review but I usually do that on my own just because I like to make the message more personable and just and I don't mind doing it I always like remember um so but if in that case if you're super busy and you not gonna remember you can definitely automate that uh asking for a review let's say if you wanted to make a new reservation most of the time when you would make uh like a new reservation or like start a messaging template Hospital actually has a like they actually have this messaging template like all of this like they have so many if you look like new booking inquiry pre-approval there's so many you can like automate and they actually fill this out for you and of course you can edit it yourself as well but that's just really um nice here in all Platforms in this scope you you can check it to I mean these are this is to make sure that if this is connected to the Airbnb these must whatever guests that you have in Airbnb will get this message and also as a verb and verbal as well and and then this is where you can um play around with the timing as well so that like the timing is when you wanted the message to be sent and for me is this message will be sent once the booking is accepted so like right away and another thing that is really cool there is these short codes they're just like placeholders um that would populate populate yes that's a weird one or new each message for example thank you for booking a stay at our cabin the shortcut is guest first name so it would take the first name of the guests right from from Airbnb so it's smart enough to able to understand like guest name to check in the knights and the guests so this is just like really helpful because not all your guests would have the same name and everyone has different check-ins and nights foreign so another thing like I just want to show the timing you can also edit this like immediately minutes hours and days so how you would do it is that when you do the timing you have to like specify too hospitable if it's like after check-in or before checking or during checked in so that's how the like the timing would work you can also automate your reviews as well super um helpful like you can turn this on and if you want to read they already have all of these um messaging like populated for you like guess first name was a great and pleasure to host it's respectful organizing Community oh I actually wrote this one but yeah um that's really helpful as well but I I like imagine I I just do this myself because I like to write like more of the personalized message and sometimes not all guests are five star reviews and another cool thing that you could do is that you can actually train hospital to detect these questions so anytime your guest has questions you can kind of send them like I automated like message for that and honestly I don't I haven't used this and I don't mind answering questions for my like guests because I only have like one Airbnb listening and most of the time I get back to them pretty quickly I probably would maybe turn this on if I was like I don't know out of the country or on a vacation or something if I understand you know like which like um I would probably like trying to turn it on then but I don't but you can do this though like you can do like for example if you know that everyone asks about like heating or air conditioning you can these are like the example questions so you can test it here you can write an example message to um to hospital and they can detect that and you can turn this on and like I mentioned you can also create your own like custom short codes as well but I don't do that I'm already happy with whatever hospital already set up the operation tab is probably my second go-to and it is something that I've been I just recently been using and this is actually really helpful when you have a cleaner and every time you get a new booking it sends a text message or an email or you can do both to your cleaner and it's just really helpful because before I would just like every time I get a new booking I will test test text it to my cleaner but now it just automates it you know so you can add like tasks rules and you can add like your cleaner but I honestly I don't really use this I just use this um that's my cleaner and you can you put in her phone number or you can also put email too anytime I get a new new reservation Ultra reservation or cancel it will send it to my cleaning lady and you can also change this too so when you click on it you can do SMS notification or email notification and for this what's also nice is that you can like to make sure that message was sent you can also send a copy to your email but I don't do that because it kind of gets annoying so this is literally the message that I always said I put in this is a new reservation the check-in exactly this is what it would look like and then you also have like metrics too I I don't really use this I kind of use the one on price Labs but this is also like cool as well oh and then they also have a direct booking that you can use as well but I am in the works of that I'm trying to create my own direct booking but that is still in the work hospitable is 25 per month and I know other like pricing softwares that is actually that cost actually more than hospital I know like I looked into guesses and igms but I think Gussy was a little bit too pricey for me igms I didn't really like their um design I felt like hospital was like definitely more like user friendly that's what I went with Hospital instead I hope this video was helpful and I hope this in some way makes your life easier so you're able to automate those messaging and trust me you are not gonna remember every messaging that is that needs to be sent to your guys really this like saves like your time and just like have a peace of mind for yourself because you know you have like a software that deal that handle handles
