hey there Tara Kevin said at bootstrap biz go calm and in this video I'm going to show you how to set up a gmail email signature on your mobile phone so in yesterday's video I showed you how to set up that email signature on the desktop version of Gmail so when you send an email using your computer that works great the email signature shows up on every email that you send but if you've noticed when you send a message using your mobile phone it doesn't show up and that's because you have to add a separate email signature to the Gmail app so what I'm going to do is I'm going to record my screen on my phone and show you how to set that up okay so what I'm going to do here is I'm going to go into Gmail and open up my Gmail app and I'm going to click this little three line button in the top left that's the menu button and I'm gonna go all the way down to the bottom and I'm gonna click settings it's the second one from the bottom and then I have multiple Gmail accounts in here so I'll just select one you want to select the email address that you have and then we're going to scroll down here where you see mobile signature you can see it says not set underneath that so I'm going to click on that and here is where you enter in your email signature so you can't get as fancy as you can with the desktop version of your email signature you can't add in an image you can't do hypertext links all you can do is text so I'm gonna do my name and the top then I'm gonna do my position and my company name then I'm going to do my phone number email address website and then one thing that you can also add which I kind of recommend you'll see it sometimes on other people's emails is I like to come to the very top up here do a space in between and I just say sent from mobile phone and the reason I said that I put this in there is that this makes it so that when I send a message using my phone people realize that I'm on my phone so there might be typos it might be pretty brief it just gives an explanation if I'm trying to get a quick message out or a quick email out to them that's not as long winded or doesn't have links or images or any of that this just notifies them that you know look I'm out I'm out and about I'm sending this message on the fly so please ignore any mistakes or brevity so that's what I like to put in that's kind of how I set mine up when you're done you just hit OK and now you're good to...
