hey what's going on welcome to the channel i'm justin tech on this channel i talk how to smart home lots of philips hue and just overall innovative tech that i think will make your life easier and smarter so if that sounds interesting to you you should totally subscribe and click that bell for alerts today we are talking how to sign a document on your mac and i'm also coming out with a video on how to sign a document on your iphone that will be a separate video i'll link it right there and down in the description alright let's get right into this the first thing you'll want to make sure is that the document you're working with is a pdf next you'll need to open it up in preview preview is a native app on mac it's completely free and that's why we're using it today so open up that document here i've got mine all you got to do is go to tools then you'll go to annotate and then make your way down to signature i'm going to manage signatures now there are a few different ways that you can do this the first thing you can use especially if you're on a laptop is your trackpad just click there to begin and what you want to do is you want to be very smooth with this as if you're actually signing so let me just start and you and if i stop i'm going to move a little bit to the right now that says justin tech i promise uh i don't normally sign my name like that but now i just gotta press any key to finish it there you go i have a signature done and there you go it's right there for me to choose i'm gonna click it i've got access to it i can make it bigger and then to let go just click somewhere else now i have access to this signature right on the top of the document as well i can create another one this time i'm going to use the camera this is really cool and probably the best way maybe to do it hey right here i have my signature on a piece of paper i'm going to put this to the camera takes a little finagling sometimes but there you go i've got it there and as you can see that's a bit of a better signature than the other ones so i'll get rid of that the last way to create your signature is actually pretty cool so what you got to do is go back to that create signature go to iphone and it will connect to your iphone and create a little signature pad so i'll sign my name that says justin tech also i promise and there you go it showed up right on my computer click done and then i've got that signature on that list so yeah i've got all of those signatures at my disposal on preview now that i can pick and choose from at any time it is that simple i hope this video helped you out today if it did make sure to give this video a like that way other people can find it and again if you want to see more videos like this and some really awesome tech reviews you guys should subscribe click that bell for alerts if you want to find out how to sign documents right from your iphone open it up in an email sign it and send it it's that easy be sure to check out that video which is coming out next week if it's out already i'll throw it down in the description that's all i've got for you guys today i'm justin and i'll check you later you
