unleashed allows you to create a customs compliant commercial invoice for your international trading by adding commerce codes and country of origin to your products as well as other relevant fields when shipping to enable this feature it must be turned on within your company settings navigate to settings organization company and then click on the configuration tab here you can toggle items on or off that you want in your unleashed account find the international commerce codes tile and toggle this on remember to click save next we need to add some information to our products go to a product by selecting inventory products view products and choosing a product you wish to update here you need to scroll down to the now visible section called international commerce attributes you have four fields you can add here international commerce code which is a 6 to 14 digit code that customs use to identify goods customs description a short description of the product that will appear on the commercial invoice country of origin to show where the goods were produced and supplementary unit if this is required once these fields are completed remember to click save please note you can also bulk import these values on the product input as normal we now have the fields i need to generate a commercial invoice let me show you an example firstly let's add a new sales order by navigating to sales orders add sales order here i will select the product i've just updated the international commerce code information to for this example i'll also give my customer a 10 discount on this product now when i go to create the shipment we have a new field called commercial value which will appear on the commercial invoice this is the full price of the product so doesn't include any customer discounts i can overwrite this field if needed by clicking on the number this won't change the price to the customer i also need to complete some additional fields required for the commercial invoice select the incoterms code from the drop-down list to show your shipping methods and select the nature of transaction code from the drop-down list to show the type of transaction when you are done click save we can now print a customs compliant commercial invoice scroll down select print and select commercial invoice please note this is a customizable template from within your document designer thank you for watching you
