Car Sales effing sucks that's the title of this video why because the business has changed Car Sales has changed just got back had my first month back in the business and uh I had a I was in for a rude awakening guys so uh hit that thumbs up button I know a lot of you guys wanted this video the rates are insane so let's start off with that 78% everybody's getting with a crazy credit score when I first bought my first Benz that's where I'm working I was was at uh 1.34% and people were trying to get 0% and they didn't want like 2% now it's like 78% like so only people coming in are really impulsive so that's a good thing that's how I look at it like anybody who's going to get a car at 78% like you know they're just like they don't really care about money and saving money as much so the rate hasn't really been an objection it's really people who don't care about the rate I noticed who are coming in and buying they're not really yeah they kind of want a good rate but they're not really to it like back in the day people are like if I don't get 1.9 I'm going down the street oh my bank can get me a quarter per lower so uh interest rates have went nuts you guys um that has been a little bit difficult and what I've noticed and put this down in the comments guys um the the leads are like I mean it blows my they're not nearly as good I don't know I I'm here I know I'm a sales trainer I know everything right cuz I'm on YouTube but I don't know the leads are just not nearly as good I I think I got 90 leads last month and out of those 90 I pulled like 14 Deals or something like that so it's just crazy right like the leads just aren't nearly as good um because back then I would sell if I got 90 leads I'm I'm pulling out 28 32 cars so like only pulling I got some people from service I literally had to go to service and say hey today we're doing free of PR you want your car appraise it's free and uh appra cars and uh I pulled some deals I pulled like two deals out in a day off of that uh so like I've been grinding right uh also you know working some deals with some friends because uh I worked a lot of deals back in the day over in Tampa now I'm in Miami in Florida so four hours but people are people are going to make the drive uh to come get a car from me because I took care of them and I saved them a bunch of money right and they just trust me like they don't have to worry about oh am I getting the best raid am I getting the best deal like I give them family friends and move on got to do right by uh you know friends and people who come to you because that's your clientele and that's your business so take care of them but back to how the car business change yeah so leads are real rough um they're not uh phone ups are even rough right every phone up I'd grab it's hey is that car still here great I'm on the way so it's been a little bit tough now I've seen the guys doing good at Mercedes um some of the people aren't uh um uh some of the people aren't like crazy talented but that doesn't matter so it's not about just being extremely talented extremely good at sales what matters is also like having a system like building a clientele um like so for instance people uh here have like Instagram pages and they're doing really well they're selling like 16 20 cars 23 one guy like they're selling a lot of cars and it's cuz they have you know maybe anywhere from 500 to like 10,000 on Instagram these guys and it's all just this dealership right they put the name of the dealership they're they post every every time they have a customer they're building their clientele that way you know they got people's numbers and stuff like that so it takes a little bit uh takes a little while to do that but that's something that you should start and just get in a habit of and I've noticed that's really helping people um cuz some of these guys uh like one of my buddies here he he doesn't work that much like he's always taking PTO and he finished like top salesperson and uh he's killing on he's just Instagram you know and uh people know him he talks to people when he goes out hands out his business card every time he sees somebody lets them know hey we got five 700 cars you know if doesn't have to be a Mercedes if you want something pre-owned they're leasing real good so just really just everywhere you're at if it's the gym if it's the bar if it's wherever you go Church even um you know uh let people know what you do right so hit the Thumbs Up Button guys I hope you guys enjoy this video so far um next thing um I've noticed is I would say uh being at of Ben's dealership with the rates High uh prices are pretty high man like you know I get people who come in who got who want to put 3500 down and be at 800 a month 850 a month on a car and I can't get them below like 1,50 right so it's crazy and then I can't drop them to a smaller car because they got kids in a family and uh they don't buy pre-owned cars they just want to lease because they don't want to be upside down so like it's sometimes you get in some tough positions but you got to learn how to bump people build value and everything like that so you do got to get better at your job in these times the election coming up I know could make a big difference for us so if you're pumped about that put down in the comments section I want to know what you guys are going through I want to know um maybe you know something I don't know and you could put in the comment section it'll help me because it's my first month back in the business um so my skills are helping me but uh I do have some stuff to learn and uh I'm going to start really working the service drive so uh yeah cuz internet's not working as much but the service Drive is great there's people who are having issues they're having huge shop bills they want to get back in warranty their shop Bill literally they're like just get me in a car if the payment's a little high that's fine because I don't want to pay five grand five grand every time this thing has an issue and they're like they got a fire under their butt uh to come get you know a new car with warranty so work your service drive and really learn something take the time maybe take a month maybe take a pay cut maybe take some time to really learn the service Drive hey I got a client who's looking for this you know 2016 Mercedes E-Class or that Nissan ultimar or that Nissan Maxima that Honda or whatever you're selling tell that hey I see you're coming in you got an appointment service um I would love to do a free appraisal on your car we we have a couple of clients that are actually looking for this car um it show you know my system shows exactly what people are looking for and I got a buyer for your car I'll give you top dollar for your car if you find something here at our lot obviously I'll take care of you I'll discount it down and try to keep you around the same payment is that something you'd be interested in boom and just start working a deal with these people and guess what you know they might say no and then they might go to service and boom they got a huge shop Bill and they're like yeah I'll trade it in so that's it guys um start working those service people I think service is where it's at right now and uh if you guys have any comments please put it down below I'd love to hear what
