okay another quick video on invoicing um in a previous video i went over um the invoices and the kind of the package i give to my residential clientele i'll leave a link in the description to that video if you haven't seen it i didn't really go over the invoice itself though this is my residential invoice right here and this is a copy of the information that we track that goes along with that invoice it lists what kind of work we performed the price uh number of stories hours of work date of uh the next service and then all their information here i'll leave a link in the description i mean another video about your customer database and tracking that information um you can track that information uh on your google docs on your cell phone but say if i'm in a hurry or whatever it is and also i need a paper i'd like to have a paper uh info or a paper document tracking that information i can put along with the invoice this is my commercial invoice it's a little bit smaller you'll realize than the residential i don't need it to be that big and this is more convenient for them to their carbon carbon copy i can you can have these made at fedex kinkos i think i spend sixty dollars on 500 of these and these are really cheap as well now the third type of invoice that we do is paperless and i use the joist app i've used several different apps and so far joyce is the best and it's free um but the joyst app allows you to create invoices at the job and then email those invoices right then and there you can even it even has a spot for a signature because a lot of my especially the paperless customers need a signature for that so it allows you to sign right on your smartphone send it over to them uh it also does uh estimates as well the only thing though sometimes at joyce uh it doesn't it has never done that with an invoice but sometimes i've had those estimates not go through so i always have the estimates emailed to me and then i forward that on to the customer but this is this is my how i invoice um i hope this helps all right
