order the other products are shaded in blue are the ones that need to be reordered now if you don't see any products listed here it may be because of two reasons one you have more than one category be sure to click on the drop-down arrow and select the second or third category second it might be that you don't have any that are on order hence highlighted in gray or any that need to be reordered or you haven't hit your reordered level hence the ones that are highlighted in blue first let's take a look at creating a new order if you can see we've got one for face peel and the other one for swabs we can scroll over to the right just a little bit and see that what we have in stock is 500 the reorder level is 800 and they preferred levels 3000 so what this means is that we have to hit a number that multiplies our discount let's first show you how to create a new order as you can see will need to create an order for our face peel products and our swabs but before we do that let's take a look at the swabs and have a little refresher course as you recall back in our inventory we set this up for this product that are reordered levels at 800 our stock levels below that so its up for reorder now how many boxes is advanced to be automatically going to configure to order for us you'll see that we have a thousand swabs per box and the maximum amount that we prefer is 3000 now remember we can't go over that number advanced Cindy will only allow as many reorders that will keep us under so if it's two times a thousand two thousand and we have in stock 500 that's 2,500 and that's not over the preferred level but when additional order three would be 3,500 and that puts us over so when we configure this or advanced d-does it will allow us to only order two boxes also the list price was 125 and now our discount price or the price that we're paying for each box is a hundred dollars let's go ahead now and generate a new order for our swabs you don't have to select anything here just simply click on the new order button now if you don't see anything here it's because you're probably on the wrong vendor click on the drop-down arrow and choose the correct vendor for that product of swabs and then again you can see here it's now configuring automatically too so we don't go over that preferred level of 3000 that gives us two thousand and our total price because we're at the discount price of 102 times hundred well there's 200 go ahead and click on create order now even though I got that little pop-up that said the screen is not implemented at this time it may be something advanced Cindy is still working on or has yet to fix here nonetheless it's still processed or generated my new order for the swabs in fact I'll prove it to you up in the modules menu down to inventory and click on main inventory you'll see what once was in well that kind of looks purple to me but I called it blue well what once was in blue the swabs is now gray in fact if you need to take a look at that order you can click on the existing order button to pull it up and you'll see it'll pull up pretty much the most recent ones within the past couple of months here click on the plus sign to expand them and there's my swabs on order for two in fact you'll see the other one here the Kirkland gloves and if I move the screen down there's the swabs Kirtland gloves the other one the tongue depressors which is still on order now it's been a while since I've looked at this but I may want to set my date range is what I'm doing right now back to April first and then my end date to today and click on search there's pulling all three of them now so while it's been a long time since these orders have been open once you get your order in the mail from united states postal service and so forth like for example this order be sure to expand the line item number order number then highlight the product listed below so you can come down here and change the status is it still open backorder partial order in any case if we're closed we can select it click Save and removes it from our list of things and then once you close an existing order next time when you come back to modules to inventory to main inventory and you'll see what once was on order the flat stick tongue depressors as of today if you don't go back into inventory and update what you received it's going to pull back up and here as it still needs to be on order so remember we ordered three boxes so what I need to do to actually pull it out of here is to close out go back to my inventory inventory items and manually type in the products that I received as you recall it was for the tongue depressors the flat stick go ahead and double click on it and then if we got in an order of three boxes so we've got the package of three three times five is fifteen hundred it puts this 1500 + 519 @ 2019 so it bumps us over the reorder level so it won't show up there anymore but it doesn't go over the preferred level be sure to save your work and then we close out go back to the modules down to inventory main inventory and we're looking for those flat stick tongue depressors to pull up now you'll see that they're here but they're no longer hided highlighted in gray meaning that they're on order and in fact I'll show you here zero orders so what's in white has been completed to take a view of your past orders you can click on the past orders button and it'll generate report or you can go under the reports menu down to inventory to past orders make sure you set your range date out far enough to capture all the past orders and your hi date to the most recent orders and click generate and you'll see my past order has been the tongue depressors
