I love that I can complete signatures and documents from the phone app in addition to using my desktop. As a busy administrator, this speeds up productivity . I find the interface very easy and clear, a big win for our office. We have improved engagement with our families , and increased dramatically the amount of crucial signatures needed for our program. I have not heard any complaints that the interface is difficult or confusing, instead have heard feedback that it is easy to use. Most importantly is the ability to sign on mobile phone, this has been a game changer for us.

hi my name is Mackenzie and today I'm going to be walking you through how an electrician might use the Finley platform to run and manage their business quick refresher for those of you that don't know Finley is a digital back office platform for small business owners to help them manage all of the sometimes really time-consuming and difficult parts of running a small business like keeping track of customer information setting pricing tracking inventory sending out quotes and invoices and of course collecting all of those different forms of payment so one of the great things about Findlay is that our platform was not built for one particular type of business we help customers in all different Industries everywhere from martial arts classes to Freelancers to someone who's running maybe an electrical contracting business and today I'm going to show you how they might be leveraging the thinly platform to run their business quick overview of the dashboard before we jump into it over on the left hand side is our navigation this is where you'll find all of your customers pricing items which is where our inventory management tool is built in quotes invoices series which reference uh recurring bills recurring invoices and then all of the payments that are either collected through Findlay or through offline payment sources outside of Findlay on your dashboard you can see a quick overview of your business over the last 30 days or whatever time period you're looking into and you'll also be able to get a quick glance at all of the payments that are headed to your bank account and an overview of the payment types that your customers are regularly using so if an electrician were being introduced to a new customer and getting things up and running um the first thing that they would probably do is come in here to the Finley dashboard and either go ahead and create an invoice or if they're working on maybe a larger commercial project or something where they need to send a proposal out first they would go ahead and create a quote quotes can be very easily turned into invoices once a customer actually approves one so we're going to go ahead and walk through that process first thing I'm going to do is select a customer I can either create a new customer or I can select one that I've already been working with previously so we'll use this business example since we're doing a commercial estimate here um I might be using my specialized hourly rate um and maybe this business is needing new smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors and potentially we're switching out a couple circuit breakers too one of the things you'll notice over on the right hand side is that all of the inventory is listed so you can know if something is low stock or out of stock maybe you need to reorder before actually agreeing to um work with this business so for each of these items we can go in and customize how many whether or not we're talking quantity or hours we can add custom descriptions as well as discounts or surcharges that are applicable to just this specific item so I'm going to go ahead and estimate that this job for this business is going to take me about four hours of specialized working time and since they are a regular customer of mine I'm going to give them a little bit of a discount on that rate each of these again we can see the inventory called out here since we're running a little bit low we're actually only doing five of each of these items and then as far as the circuit breakers go I'm expecting that they're gonna need about three new ones but we can always change that once we get in there and I see what we're working with so I'm going to go ahead and add these items to the quote I can reorder any of these and you'll see that the preview populates over on the right hand side here I could add a discount or a surcharge to the entire quote and then I can also add a message for this customer that they'll receive this customer is going to be receiving this quote via email but you can also send them using SMS as well so I'm going to go ahead and send this quote over to my business customer and if we head back to the quotes tab you'll see that this quote has been sent and once it's been approved by a customer I will be able to convert it into an invoice up until that point I can edit the quote I can resend it or I can also copy the link to the quote to send in another email that I might be sending to this customer again as I mentioned once the quotes been approved in a two clicks I can turn that into an invoice but if I want to go through the invoicing process from scratch I can do that either from this button up here or on the invoices Tab and as you can see this process looks the exact same so we'll go ahead and add just for the sake of it all of the same items to this invoice I won't customize the quantities or anything like that if this is maybe a business that I work with on a regular basis I can set this invoice to repeat and create a recurring series and maybe I visit this um business every three months to do you know some electrical work around the building um I can set that to repeat every three months at the end of the month and maybe I signed a one-year contract with them so we'll have this and after only four invoices for example um I can add a statement period if I'd like to specify what time frame this invoice is referring to and of course I can add an invoice message since this is set to be issued in the future um I may actually just issue this now I'm going to go ahead and send the invoice now to our business customer and once I go into my invoices tab there is that invoice that has been issued and then there is the next one that in the series that's already been scheduled and will be sent out in November this business can go ahead and pay the invoice via the pay by link which you can also copy the link to over here or if they paid you via cash or check we can also record an offline payment and I could put the check number here or say pay me via cash I can log that and the invoice will now show as completed and paid a couple other um things to know about the Finley dashboard within the customers tab I can store a lot of great information about maybe the name of this business and their address or their contact information um I can also add specific projects that I might be working on for that customer so let's say I work with a property management company and they have four different buildings that I'm regular regularly doing electrical work for I can add each of those as different service boards and then on a single invoice I can specify what things are are being billed for I can also securely upload contracts or attachments to this part of the customer profile and at a glance I can get a quick view of their previous quotes and invoices as well as that recurring series that we just put them on under pricing this is where you'll be able to edit your inventory so as you can see we are out of stock of our smart outlet right now and I can go in here and let's say I just placed a new order go ahead and update that and you'll see that of course it is now no longer out of stock and the last time that that inventory was updated in your settings you're able to specialize a couple different parts of the business you can change your contact information or business information you can select whether your business or your customers will be paying the three percent credit card fee so on any invoice that you send to a customer they have the ability to either pay via ACH bank to bank transfer and those are always free or they can choose to use a credit card and at this point in your settings you're able to specify whether you would like to take on that three percent fee or pass it along to your customers we also have a number of really helpful Integrations to the Finley dashboard our most popular being QuickBooks which allows you to integrate your accounting software to the Finley dashboard and anytime you collect a payment or add a customer that information will be synced between the two platforms you're also able to manage your subscription which is 39 a month and we have a really great referral program so if you refer any businesses that sign up to Findlay they'll get a month free and you'll get a month free for referring them and then lastly our dashboard is collaborative so you are able to add different team members maybe you'd like to put an accountant on here or other employees and they'll all be able
