looks like how to ship and all of this stuff so you're signing in to you eBay and here it says my eBay you're gonna go on to selling right there and I sold of course you have to sign in so give me a second for that so here we go I'm signed in and this is what the screen looks like so you want to go to the sold items right here so it says sold 23 okay and this is the list of all of the items that I've sold alright so in addition to that it also tells you how much it's been sold including the shipping and then you have the contact name for the member but what I want to do right now is start printing the labels so you see here let's say this is the purse that I sold I sold it for $39.50 and the shipping was already paid for at seven dollars and five cents from the buyer right it says right here that this little check mark him and said it's been sold this little check mark here with the dollar sign means that it's been paid for and this item here means that it's been shipped so right now if I hover over it it says not shipped so right now I want to print the shipping labels I just go here click this option right here for print shipping label I'm going to block this right here because this is the buyers address and name and you get a whole bunch of option right you get the post-office on let me see I'm going to stay right here you can change your type of package so you check your um package option right and in my case this is a one to three-day Priority Mail thick envelope up to 70 pounds this is the size if it was an irregular size I would have to click on here right then you can add a signature if you wanted to that would be you would be charged two dollars and forty-five cents I don't want to do that but I am adding an insurance to it for a package value of $39.50 okay so when you go here the postage Coast it's still at 584 right here for total and then you have the destination country and all of the other feature right there's no hazardous material and is um print the SKU or the number on the label I don't want to do that and the mailing date is today okay so I can display the postage value on the label I'm not going to do that I'm just going to click on continue and when you get to the next page again I'm asking the name of the person that I'm sending this to right and I'm you're just getting this thing here with shipping cost you verify all of your information right pay for shipping and print the label so I'm going to do that and this is going to go straight through my PayPal account the next page shows me that I have successfully purchased my postage label for 584 and here's the label right here again I'm asking my name with my address as well as the person it's going to I'm just going to go ahead and print that and all I have to do is tape it to the envelope and go with the next one the print label button is right here and just tape it seal it and that's it I'm ready to go the next item I'll do exactly the same thing and I'll be done with everything so when that's done I'll show you what it looks like when I have all of the package and then I'll go to the post office and we'll be done with the whole ordeal this is the worst part of selling on ebay by the ways when you have to do the label and the packing and everything so now just so that I don't get confused with all of the labels on the back to print because the label doesn't say the content of the box I wrote down write down the blank negative space of the page what it is that way when I'm going downstairs and clipping everything and posting I know where to put the label in which package it's going to be reserved for so once you're ready to print your label you say here that you have successfully purchased your postage label we've deducted X amount from your PayPal account and we will send your buyer an order update email with delivery details so I don't have to enter the UPS tracking number I think in the old days you had to this will take a few minutes for the tracking number and order status to be updated on your count page so they will be alerted that the item is on its way and because this is going to give them basically the tracking number that's on their label they will be able to see where the item is on route and whatever and when it's supposed to be delivered here's a case where you have one person who purchased two items these are two male glass pieces that are sold so what happened here is that the shipping was combined and you sit right here $27 and that was done automatically on through ebay so I just have to print one label and pack both of them in one box another thing you can do is let's say for instance when you posted your original item on ebay and then now it's time to do the labels but you realize that you have the wrong dimension right before you print your label you can change that let's say you pick Priority Mail package thick envelope right you can like I said you can change that but here you can change the weight and dimensions so if you had picked a seven by four by four you can go to weight and dimension and change it to 12 by six by five or 12 by six by six you can change whatever you want here with the weight as well and then you can create a new label and what's going to do that it will change the price here for the item to be shipped okay so now I have this one item that's the last one there's our two champagne flutes and this one needs to have an invoice sent to the lady who purchased the item so I'm just going to go ahead and click on send invoice so it's going to show you the package right here and I'm going to try to do the same thing I did before which is um prepare whatever package on one so I'd sell here we're going to pick up our USPS postal select right here and there's no sales tax and I did say that this was going to cost seven dollars to ship okay so then you click send the invoice right here and the lady is going to receive that the buyer will receive an email with a link to the invoice you created they can then pay you based on the instruction and payment method you're specifying okay so I just got to wait for that particular person to go ahead and make the payment otherwise that's it now what do I do with the items that I did not sell all right so I'm going back to my eBay I'm going to selling and then I'm going to right here with the sell I'm going to go to items that did not sell which is the unsold item and here they are right so what I'm going to do is just go ahead and release them now because I want to be able to see them on I'm going to pick right here at the bottom show me 25 items at a time that way I don't have to you know go up and down the page so here they are there's only one page now right here and these are all the items at the end sell so I'm just going to go ahead and release them you just click on the button right here and we'll list the item same starting price that before and realist now and they're going to go on for seven days as before the listing fee is zero you can do that up to three times before they charge you a realist fee on them okay so I'm just going to go ahead through the whole list here and realistically item I had for sales so the bids are not open again so if you're interested again my name on eBay is dev Ram 1000 so these are the items that I have currently relisted but if you want if you don't want to do them one by one let's say for instance that you really are sending them back to eBay for another auction without changing anything on it you just go back to you unsold item and this is what I have left that son sold you click the little box right here where it says it's going to basically check all right here so now every single one of them is checked you can see that and you can just click right here on the real list button and it's going to relist all of them so that way you don't have you 619 14 out of 19 being processed okay so here they are right and you want to submit all because I'm not changing anything okay confirm and submit let's click ok and I'm going back to my active and these are all the items right now they are put back on the auction block because they did not sell all right so there is one two three four five sets of flutes this deer wine goes to this Japanese tea kept in selled and is this little Korean want the doll the tree and all the chorion wand a little demitasse here a little figurine and then two totems and a bunch of maps and stamps and another cup from Lenox and some vintage stuff here that did not sell so they are up for another six days and 23 hours another option that you had when you printed your label was to print a packing slip some people may want that I personally don't see the difference so I don't do it however I do look at and haven't blocking it right now look at the name of the person who purchased the item and I just write them a quick note to thank them for the purchase add it to the package seal it put the label on the box and I'm ready to go to the post office and basically what you do is that you just follow the format that you would have for a thank-you card for instance so you put the name dear Laurie so it's personalized and you thank them for the purchase and you add what specific was the item so it's not just thank you for your purchase you know blah blah blah you recognize that this was 40 cap and then you put a little personal note for instance I put I hope you enjoy the tea cap as much as I did over the years it was displayed in my home best and then my name at the end so it's just an added touch to some people who send Hershey Kisses things like this I'm out of Hershey Kisses chocolate doesn't last too long in my house so I can't do that but this is ready to be added to the package I'm just going to go ahead and label everything and I'll see you in a second after everything has been boxed so of course I got all flustered because I spent the last five and a half hours packing to stuff and this is all I have left for packing material so I have plenty for the next round and then this arm these two right here there where the invoice and I'm waiting for the lady to pay for it so that we can ship it in this box but I'm going to insert right here the pile of packages that I had so you can see how much stuff it was that I had to pack now you want to pack everything as though it's a antique from three centuries ago you get the point you just keep wrapping it and wrapping it and wrapping it and you tape the whole thing and then you put bubble around it because the last thing you want is for anything to break in shipment because that means that you're gonna have to reimburse um the person who purchased it so you don't wanna lose money okay then I went to the post office and again everything was just labeled already so just scanned everything and that was it I'm done for this round Seth I hope you've learned a little bit today I'm not showing
