[Music] to Bill each person registered for a member or Club event what you'll need to do is head into their registration screen by double clicking the event from your event calendar and then up at the top where you have your summary of registrants you can bill people in two ways you can either highlight the name and use this little POS icon to launch POS and bill them one by one or you can use this pin pad which is the auto charge POS to bill everyone at once so I will click on the little pin pad and you'll see up top I have all the members who are eligible to be billed right away and then I have some exceptions and the reason I have those exceptions is because you have two options when you go ahead and bill registered events you can either automatically close all chits which means it will create a chit for every person who's registered and then member charge it and close it or I could create chits and leave them open so because I've said automatically close all chits but maybe I'm doing a separate chat per client all of these people who are guests aren't able to be automatically closed because there's no member account to build them to if I was to click separate chip per reservation that means every member even if they have guests associated will get a chit with all of the guest charges on it and it will automatically remember charged and close to their account there are still some exceptions and that's because these are guests who are registered without the permission of a member so if you are going to use the check creation option of automatically close all shits you do have to make sure that every registrant is associated with a member number you can also flip to create chits and leave them open so well that what that will do is create a chat for every client or every registration so every group of clients and leave it open in your point-of-sale system so you can then go in and settle it by credit card by cash by member charge and you can even add more items to it such as food and drink that they've purchased throughout the night once you've chosen whether you're going to leave your open or automatically close them and whether it's going to be separate chit per client so each person registered every individual guest and member or separate chit per reservation so groups so guess with the members that are bringing them then you can choose what date you want the chit to be created so by default the event date will populate here but if you are billing a day or two later and you want to post it a day or two later you can change this date you can also choose which point-of-sale server to assign the chit's to so you can only choose one for all of them but then your servers could come in and pick up those chits from the other servers down at the bottom you have a little summary that just tells you the number of chats that are to be created and the total amount to build and of course this number will change as I flip between separate chip for client versus separate chip per reservation there is a preview button so you can preview it and see exactly who's getting billed and then when you're ready you can go ahead and hit create chits create chits will actually launch the Jonas point-of-sale and you'll get a a pop up just telling you this has been successfully completed I can now see that all my members have the checked-in option beside their name and the paid box is checked beside everyone's name now if we go into my Jonas point-of-sale I should be able to see those chits under open chits so here's all the chit's for my event if I click on one of them I'll see that I have one event trivia night with the booking number associated I could even come in here and actually add in more options so such as maybe he had a drink that night from here I can go ahead and go to my settlement screen and settle this however this member wishes to settle his bill whether it be credit card member charge or cash [Music]
