think that makes new Freelancers nervous is things like admin and processes and sending the first invoice and I get it because I would have felt like that at 1.2 so I'm going to share with you my invoice template I'm going to go through it in this video and then I'm going to link it in my bio via gun Road it's going to be completely free because it's like not a very good invoice but it's perfectly good enough I have been using it for 3 years I certainly outgrown it now and I should have changed to like QuickBooks years ago but if you're nervous and you just want to get started this invoice will serve you no problem I have invoiced thousands of pounds with this and I've even had to like Chase clients who've owed me money and this invoice has been absolutely fine so let me show you what it looks like okay so as you can see I'm literally creating this on Microsoft Word I don't recommend this to be fair but if you're nervous and you just want something that you know you can use and feel safe with let me present you with my invoice so in the corner here you've got your name your address your telephone number your email and then your customer details simple you can do all this the date which you send the invoice and the invoice number this has to be a unique number that you will like assign to this invoice in here I put like a title of the work so for me it might be like SEO retainer SEO services or it could be content writing 500 piece blog or something like this work completed in January for example and then anything notable that was included the price the quantity of them one the total oh that doesn't add up there we go that's better the total and then finally your bank details so you would put in or even if you this is basically where you where you're requesting payment so a lot of my clients pay me like direct to my bank you might be using like payeer or transfer wise or PayPal you would just specify how you want to be paid there and that is it so if you want to download that it's completely free on my gun Road go ahead grab yourself a copy it'll serve you in the early days of freelancing but one thing I wish I had done is got more sophisticated early on and use something like QuickBooks so hopefully you can see that the invoice doesn't have to be anything special it's super easy you can definitely create it and you know already all the data that you need to put in there so yeah let me know if you use it and if you're interested in freelancing follow me because I post every day
